The Russell Hobbs Anniversary K65 Kettle

By Russell Hobbs

Russell Hobbs has launched a special edition K65 anniversary model to celebrate 65 years of the world’s first automatic shut-off kettle. In 1955 Russell Hobbs created a kettle that revolutionised the way people enjoy tea and coffee. In 1955 Russell Hobbs launched the K1, “the kettle that watches itself”, followed by the K2, a more refined version with an even quicker boil in 1960. The K2 went on to be the nation’s best-selling kettle for over two decades, topping wedding gift lists across the country. In honour of the original K models the brand is now launching the K65 to mark 65 years since this iconic model first hit the shelves. The stunning new kettle is modelled on the original K-series and includes instantly recognisable features like a brushed stainless-steel finish, the same distinctive body shape and sleek black handle with red on/off button, making it the perfect option for retro and modern kitchens alike. The new K65 kettle has been updated to meet the demands of modern life, with a slim 360 power base, a perfect pour spout and fast boil technology – boiling one cup in under 40 seconds and saving 69% more energy in the process*. The K65 is available in two colours: a classic brushed stainless steel and copper. K65 Brushed stainless-steel: £59.99 available from Argos K65 Copper stainless-steel: £64.99 available from DSG
