I wanted to make the best thermal jacket in the world, in both style, detail & performance. My dream design. That means it needs to be waterproof, smart and quiet. So I used the best natural materials and tailored military design. The FRAHM Ventile Thermal Field Jacket is the best of our best. Crafted in Ventile, a British military classic fabric used in pilot submersion suits, the outer is tough with a beautiful temperature-regulating wool lining. These are nature’s performance materials. A highly efficient layer of recycled polyester insulation dries fast and means the jacket is machine washable. We’ve used super tough YKK Aquaguard waterproof zips at the front, cuffs and hips, for adjustability and maximum comfort. As with our fabled Utility Field Jacket, there’s a lot of heavyweight storage - the cargo pockets are actually even bigger. The waist is cord adjustable and there’s more comfort on articulated pleating and an ‘action back’ for full range of movement in freezing temperatures. FRAHM donate £10 from every jacket sold to CALM and to date FRAHM have raised over £43,000 for mental health charities since their launch in 2018.
